Drinks Writer – Australian Bartender Magazine

The team at Spanton Media Group are looking for a part-time, Sydney based Drinks Writer to join their team.

​

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience with Australia’s leading hospitality trade media company – the team behind Australian Bartender, Sydney Bar Week, Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards & australianbartender.com.au.

 

The successful applicant will have hospitality and drinks industry experience as well as the ability to string a sentence or two together. We are looking for someone with a keen understanding of what we do and who is well-versed with the content of Australian Bartender magazine, including current cocktail and bar trends. A degree in communications (or similar) will be considered favourably but is not essential.

 

Key responsibilities include writing and compiling content for Australian Bartender magazine, both print and online, attending events etc.

 

Role will be based part-time with the potential to expand to something more permanent in the future.

 

Rate will be negotiated based on experience and amount of content supplied.
